扎如寺坐落于扎如马道中途，是九寨沟附近最大、最名气的喇嘛庙。始建于明朝未年，公元1860年和1892年两次翻修。扎如寺由大殿、藏经楼、乐台、茶房、迎客楼等六部分组成，是一座具有浓厚藏族寺庙色彩的建筑。庙前挂有五色经幡，随风而动。
　　 农历三月十五日是九寨沟世故民的麻芝节，第年都在此举办最大规模的庙会。人们在这仿、念经拜佛、饮茶喝酒、尽情歌舞。
